Stamford Hospital Announces Sleep Apnea and CPAP Support Group Meetings

October 13, 2005

Sleep disorder support group meetings are held quarterly, from 7 PM to 8 PM in the Brace Auditorium conference rooms.

Please visit the Connecticut Center for Sleep Medicine on the web or call 203-276-2300 for future dates and times for meetings.

All sleep apnea patients are welcome to attend and listen to experienced speakers discussing current topics of interest and share experiences with other patients and users of CPAP.

Visit with home care representatives, review equipment options, and if you are on CPAP, have your machine checked for proper function (please bring your prescribed pressure setting).  A physician sleep specialist will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding th treatment of sleep apnea.

This gathering is especially helpful to those patients considering or initially starting CPAP as treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.  If you have any questions, please call Laura DeFelice, Sleep Center Coordinator, at 203-276-2300.
