PRESS RELEASE Landauer Metropolitan, Inc., Acquires Low Surgical and Medical Supply July 26, 2005 Landauer-Metropolitan, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Low Surgical & Medical Supply, Inc. of Great Neck, New York. Landauer is the largest DME provider in the Metropolitan New York area. Landauer is also the largest respiratory equipment provider in that market. The combination with Low Surgical, New York’s second largest respiratory equipment provider further separates Landauer from the competition. “We are extremely excited about the acquisition of Low. As the Number one and two respiratory companies in New York and surrounding counties, we have created a business that is second to none in service capability, technical resources, and geographic coverage. Our patient and referral base can expect the very best service and support from Landauer and Low” said Louis Rocco, Landauer’s President and CEO. There is now a significant gap between number the one and number two respiratory providers in the New York metro area. “We have the size, service breadth, scope of HMO contract relationships, and geographic coverage necessary in this marketplace.
