In-Home Polysomnography
The
in-home polysomnography study involves as many recorded physiological parameters
as is standard in the typical sleep laboratory. The LMI Sleep Services
trained and Certified technician will hook-up the patient either at home or in a
facility, and the patient sleeps in their own bed at home. Parameters
include those required for sleep staging with 4 or more additional parameters of
sleep. The study is monitored remotely overnight with data retrieved from the
patient home following the study.
The data will be analyzed (scored) by LMI with results forwarded to either an
LMI Sleep Services staff or private physician for interpretation. The
referring (who may also be the interpreting) physician will decide upon further
tests and treatment needed, based on recommendations provided by the
interpreting physician.
LMI Sleep Services physicians are all Diplomates of the American Academy
of Sleep Medicine. All scoring personnel are Registered Polysomnographic
Technologists (RPSGT).

Compumedics
Siesta utilized for ambulatory applications, capable of measuring up to 32
channels of data; the Safiro is the same exact size. The wireless Siesta unit
transmits data to a laptop computer, which collects and stores acquired study
data in the same Profusion PSG software package utilized for facility-based
polysomnography. The internal memory card provides additional data back-up.
