Cardiorespiratory StudiesThe ambulatory patient is set up in their home or a facility for the overnight test by an LMI Sleep Diagnostics trained, certified technician, with data retrieved the next morning. The cardiorespiratory study simultaneously records ventilation, respiratory effort, ECG or heart rate, and oxygen saturation at minimum; additional parameters may be added based on individual discretion. The data will be analyzed (scored) by LMI with results forwarded to either an LMI Sleep Diagnostics staff or private physician for interpretation. The referring (who may also be the interpreting) physician will decide upon further tests and treatment needed, based on recommendations provided by the interpreting physician. Indications for use For patients with a high pretest probability for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, or who otherwise cannot obtain a full in-home polysomnogram or facility based evaluation.
